. The budget is 33 thousand 159 crore rupees more than the last financial year 2019-20. Finance Minister Suresh Khanna has presented the biggest budget in the history of UP.

10 thousand 967 crore 87 lakh new schemes have been included in the budget. While presenting the budget, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna informed about the development works done during the previous tenure of the Yogi government. He also mentioned the priorities of his government.

85 crore has been arranged for the development of high level facilities in Ayodhya for tourism. Also, 500 crore will be given for Ayodhya Airport. While 10 crore has been arranged for Tulsi memorial building. That is, about 600 crores have been arranged for the budget Ram Nagari Ayodhya. Apart from this, 180 crores has been given for the establishment of Culture Center in Varanasi. At the same time, there is a provision of 50 crores for the promotion of tourism unit. There is a provision of Rs 25 crore for water sports in Ramgarh Tal of Gorakhpur. While Rs 200 crore will be given for Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

Meerut, Ghaziabad, Firozabad, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Mathura-Vrindavan and Shahjahanpur will be developed as smart cities.
