High School and Intermediate examinations of UP Board have started from today. The examinations will run from 18 to 6 March. In the board examination, a total of 3022607 students in high school and 2584511 in intermediate, 5607118 candidates are appearing for the examination at 7784 centers across the state. Exams are being conducted in two shifts, in the first shift between eight and 11.15 am, high school Hindi and preliminary Hindi are being conducted.

High School and Intermediate examinations of UP Board have started from today. The examinations will run from 18 to 6 March. In the board examination, a total of 3022607 students in high school and 2584511 in intermediate, 5607118 candidates are appearing for the examination at 7784 centers across the state. Exams are being conducted in two shifts, the first shift is going to have high school Hindi and preliminary Hindi examination between eight and 11.15 am, while the second shift will have intermediate Hindi, general Hindi examination between two and 5.15 pm. There will be a total of 30.22 lakhs in the first shift and 25.84 lakhs in the intermediate in the second shift, totaling 56.07 lakhs candidates.

The 2020 examination has reduced 1.88 lakh candidates compared to 2019. At the same time 570 centers have also been reduced. In 2016, there were 6821495 candidates in the UP board examination, while in 2020 examination this number was reduced to 5607118. The STF along with the DM and Superintendent of Police have been given the responsibility of examinations by the government to make the examinations without copying. For the first time on behalf of the board, monitoring of webcasting has been done by connecting all the centers of the state together. The schools have been connected to the state level control room set up at the Directorate of Education, Lucknow.
