Let me tell you that not only in Kashi, it is a unique and first event in India, where the audience is getting the opportunity to enjoy the best artistic films under the open sky overnight. According to the convener of this event, Krishna Kumar, there is no other city suitable for the cultural capital of the country to start such an event.
A total of 150 feature films applied for the event, out of which a total of 35 films have been short-listed. On the first day, Rajendra Prasad Ghat featured animation films' UP UP and UP ', feature films' Sanno ... Daughter of India', 'Antyavatha', 'Chaturanath' and '13 Tribute of Love '.
At the Assi Ghat, the film 'Village of a Lesser God' directed by Anant Mahadevan, awarded with the Filmfare Award and 'Chutney' directed by Jyoti Cooper Das, was shown. During this jury members Savan Kumar, B Subhash, David Saprio, S Kumar Mohan, Hemandri Singh, Virat Vijay etc. were present. At the same time, the film fair was held till morning, then the audience's activity remained in the films throughout the night.
