The district administration has ordered closure of all swimming pools by March 31 to prevent corona virus and not to hold major events at the stadium. Thermal scanners will be installed in institutions crowded with more than 50 people including hotels, malls, multiplexes to identify suspects and prevent virus infection.

Corona virus continues to wreak havoc all over the world and so far thousands of lives have been washed away and 127 cases have been reported in India.  

 In this connection, District Magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma, in Varanasi, yesterday held a meeting with all the hotels, travels, club operators, social organizations and administrative officials in the Commissioner's Auditorium and informed about advisory to prevent infection of Corona.


 
According to this advisory, the public toilets have to be wiped with hypochloride every six hours. Also, cleaning will be done every three hours with two percent bleaching solution. Residential, government and commercial buildings, including lift walls, handles, intercom receivers, mobile and skater railings, will be cleaned every hour wherever people feel the need.

New rules of cleaning have been implemented for more crowded places. Wipe with hypochloride every six hours. Also, a wall up to seven feet has to be cleaned every six hours. Gyms and clubs have also been instructed to undergo frequent disinfections.

DM said that regular cleaning of large establishments, restaurants, market places, cushion of shops etc. should be done regularly. Remove moisture-absorbing waste in homes, old newspapers and items where dust is collecting. Manage ventilation and sunlight.
Serve food items by wearing globs to sell food items in the market including hotels and restaurants. Keep sanitizer in all these places and use it coming from outside, also make sure.


 
 Along with this, the District Magistrate directed that the names, addresses and phone numbers of tourists coming from Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Iran, China and Korea should be entered in the register so that they can be kept under surveillance. To bring every tourist from these countries to the Correntine Center, the Regional Manager Roadways and the Chief Medical Officer have been directed to treat them.

Instructed the owners of all the establishments of the city to inform the subordinate employees about the prevention of corona virus. Also make one of the staff nodal.
