The Yogi government has locked down 16 districts of Uttar Pradesh. This step has been taken by the government in view of the increasing scope of coronavirus. Actually, everything will be closed except some essential services during lock down. People will be instructed to stay in their homes only if there is an emergency, then only they will be able to move out. Also, private and public transport will be completely closed. Offices, schools, colleges, gyms, clubs, restaurants, malls, cinemas, multiplexes etc. will all be closed. During this time only shops of essential salons like milk, vegetables, medicines and everyday essentials will remain open.

During this time the police will also have some special rights

In the districts where lock-down has been announced, if there is any congestion or breaks any rules, then the government has ordered strict action against them under Section 188. All 16 districts will be sanitized during lock down.
All government-non-government offices, educational institutions, private offices, state corporations and mandals will remain closed during lock down. All factories, merchant establishments, private offices will all be closed. The workshop and warehouse will also be closed. Public transport will be completely stalled. Under this, metro, roadways, city transport, private buses, taxis, auto rickshaws and e-rickshaw operations will be completely closed.


Offices related to essential services will not be closed

Areas covered by some essential services in government advisory will not be closed. These include hospitals, electricity departments, family welfare departments, armed forces, police forces, district offices, government food distribution shops, food items including fruits, vegetables, milk, dairy, grocery and drinking water. Disaster and Relief Department, State Property Department, Communication and Information Department, Fire Department, and Civil Defense Services are also included.

They will also be exempt during lock down

Emergency services, telephone, internet data center, network, IT, postal services, banks, ATMs, insurance companies, e-commerce related services, home delivery as well as print media, electronic media, social media, petrol pumps, LPG gas, oil Agency, drug store, medical equipment and sellers of essential items will be exempt.

Leave only when necessary

Avoid unnecessarily leaving the house during lock down, during this time, the police will have the right that if you are outside without any reason, then they may even have to take legal action if you leave the house or do not believe. You can leave milk, vegetables, ration or medicine. But return immediately to your homes after shopping. Sick individuals or pregnant women can go out in emergency.
